Dan Graham has
been active in fundraising and marketing
for more than 12 years. He joined the
House Ear Institute staff as Executive
Vice President of Development and
Marketing in 2001 to oversee the
Institute’s overall fundraising efforts
and implementation of marketing and
communication strategies.
As the Institute expands into
new areas of research, Dan is applying
his extensive experience in planned
giving and development to help the
Institute’s management team explore new
initiatives in fundraising to support
that work. Dan also works closely with
the marketing and communications staff
to integrate fundraising efforts with
targeted publicity and community
outreach campaigns.
Before coming to the
Institute, Dan served as Executive
Director of Development for Santa
Monica-UCLA Medical Center.
Additionally, Dan has served as a
marketing consultant, assisting
organizations in developing marketing
materials and strategies for a full
range of fundraising programs.
Dan holds a Doctor of
Musical Arts Degree from Johns Hopkins
University and a Master of Music Degree
from Yale University. A native of
Minnesota, Dan did extensive performing
as a concert pianist and recording
artist and worked as a music professor
at universities in Colorado and
Connecticut before moving to California
to pursue his marketing and fundraising
interests.
