USC Graduate Study Opportunities at House Research Institute

Jointly sponsored by the Neuroscience Graduate Program at USC and the House Research Institute, the program brings together scientists working in diverse areas of hearing and vocal communication and provides outstanding training opportunities for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars.

Graduate Student Externships

The Children’s Auditory Research & Evaluation (CARE) Center, in affiliation with three California State Universities, provides educational experiences to graduate students in audiology and speech/language pathology.

 

Neurotology Clinical Fellowship Program

The neurotology lateral skull base surgery program at House Clinic provides advanced education beyond that afforded in the otolaryngology residency in the diagnosis and management of disorders of the temporal bone, lateral skull base, and related anatomical structures.

Pediatric Audiology Trainee

Our 12 month Pediatric Audiology Traineeship position provides valuable training for AuD students in their fourth year of study.

 

Research Scholar Program

Open to physicians, foreign or domestic, who have completed an ENT residency and are interested in otology or applied otologic research.

 

Temporal Bone Dissection Course

House Research Institute’s continuing medical education course on the principles of temporal bone and skull base surgery for practicing otolaryngologists, neurosurgeons, and senior residents.
