Journey Through the Human Ear Exhibit Explore the human auditory system on a visit to the House Ear Institute’s unique museum-style exhibit – Journey Through the Human Ear. The unique educational exhibit is meant to be both fun and educational. It features a larger-than-life model of the auditory system, which demonstrates with animation and audio how the human ear processes sound. Text, video, and graphics complement the model and illustrate the hearing process as well as common hearing loss, ear diseases and ways to protect hearing health. Family Camp A weekend engagement for the entire family - House Ear Institute's annual Family Camp is traditionally held at Camp Hess Kramer in Malibu for families who have children with hearing loss. Children engage in a variety of camp activities while parents take part in workshops presented by a variety of professionals working in the field of education and advocacy for children with hearing loss. <Click for more information> |
