House Ear Institute founder Howard P. House, M.D., believed that knowledge is only meaningful when it is shared. The Institute continues that philosophy in its work today.

Our professional education programs are revered worldwide by the medical and research communities, with opportunities for continuing education workshops and professional training. We have a variety of education and outreach services for the general public, too. They range from our popular Sound Partners™ hearing conservation program to public forums on hearing loss, an annual Family Camp for families with children who are dealing with hearing loss, as well as an assortment of award-winning publications and public service promotions.

Our onsite library is a comprehensive resource devoted to issues of the human auditory and related systems for use by both the general public and scientists and physicians.
