Children's Auditory Research and Evaluation
(CARE) Center
Our consulting psychologist has many years of experience working with children with hearing impairment and their families. Her primary function at the CARE Center is to evaluate the development of young children who are cochlear implant candidates and to counsel families regarding the psychological issues that may be involved in the implantation process.
The psychologist is also available to perform evaluations with other children with hearing loss and make appropriate referrals for further counseling, if appropriate.
